We welcome you to register for the St. Ottilien 2024 conference.
(Registration Deadline May 31st, 2024)

In order to register, please follow these steps

Double Bed Room/per person: 350 €
Double Bed Room/per person (shared bathroom): 330 €


Students Fees (please provide student identification):
Single Room: 290,00 €
Single Room (shared bathroom): 240,00 €
Double Bed Room/per person: 250 €
Double Bed Room/per person (shared bathroom): 220 €


Rates include conference fees, accommodation, meals and the cultural tour on Saturday.

Day Visitors: 60,00 € per day (meals, except breakfast, included, tour not included)

3) Once we have received your payment, we will send you a confirmation of your registration. Please note that your registration is only valid after payment has been received - if no payment has been made four weeks after online registration, this registration will be removed from our data base.

Please note that the Network for Buddhist-Christian Studies will NOT send invitation letters for Visa applications and will not answer such requests!

If you intend to present a paper in the Open Presentations sessions please submit a brief proposal (1/2 to 2/3 page) to Professor Perry Schmidt-Leukel (perrysl@uni-muenster.de) before March 31st, 2024. All papers presenting new research in any field of Buddhist-Christian studies are welcome.

Call for papers

The European Network of Buddhist-Christians Studies invites rising and established scholars to give short presentations (20 mins.) at the open sessions of the conferences. Papers can be on any topic in the field of Buddhist-Christian studies. For approval, proposals (150-200 words) need to be sent to Prof P. Schmidt-Leukel: perrysl@uni-muenster.de
